Title
May 30, 1937- Letter from Robert Schaap to J.A. Coulter
Description
Schaap tells Coulter that he has not done any collecting, as his business has been struggling due to a devaluation of currency. He continues by saying that he has packed some of his best artifacts, but a smuggling operation has tightened regulations on the island. He tells Coulter that Dr. van der Hoop was pleased with the Quetzalcoatl figure that Coulter sent (referred to as the "Mexican Clay Idol" in Coulter's letter dated November 24, 1936).
